Quartz is a mined compound that is generally found near the earth's crust. This truly stunning stone produces a range of high quality finishes by using glass, dyes & metallic flecks, that makes each individual stone unique in itself.

Each stone has been cut to size and polished, all edges have been carefully bevelled before being mounted to hard wearing feet pads to prevent any scratches to existing surfaces you wish to place this on.

Resistant to Stains

Certain properties of Quartz mean that this stone is much less likely to show stains & damages due to it's low porosity. Other materials such as glass and marble have a much greater porosity than Quartz and are more likely to absorb stains & damages into their micro pores. 

Resistant to Scratches

Quartz measures 7/10 on the Mohs Scale, meaning it is a very strong material and very resistance to scratches. There is only Diamond, Corundum and Topaz that measures harder. 

Hygienic 

Quartz chopping boards are extremely hygienic as their dense composition inhibits bacteria growth and limits the transfer of bacteria onto other services.

Due to their non-porous properties, maintaining your Quartz board is minimal, we recommend using soap & water to scrub your Quartz chopping board after each use.
